C. Roles and Responsibilities:
World’s top supplier of credit ratings, research, and opinion is S&P Global Ratings, for which the Global Analytical Center serves as a research and analytics hub. You will be a member of GAC, which will allow you to –

• Collaborate closely with S&P Global Ratings Analysts to keep an eye on and track the performance of a portfolio of credits/transactions within the Financial Institutions. and the Insurance industry, as well as reacting to credit occurrences.
• Concentrate on exclusive models that cover capital models, predictions, forecasts, and stress case scenarios.
• When appropriate, analyze pertinent performance metrics like balance sheet strength, financial ratios, liquidity, prepayments, defaults, and foreclosure.
• Carry out in-depth market research, including peer comparisons, industry drivers, macroeconomic trends, regulatory policies, and their consequences.
• Utilize a forward-looking analytical approach along with credit rating principles and procedures that are specific to the asset class and more general.
• Create draft rating rationale reports that include a comprehensive analysis supported by solid analytic judgment and evidence.
• Assist the S&P Ratings Analyst in producing credit ratings by engaging in a wide range of tasks.
• Chance to collaborate with S&P Global Ratings and Research teams throughout industries, asset classes, and geographic areas
• Monitor the financial climate, including macroeconomic trends and the performance of various sectors and asset classes.
• Establish strong working relationships with international clients by presenting at forums, conducting analytical discussions, providing conceptual training, and learning, among other activities.
• Contribute to ratings committees and discussion boards about the business, transaction, significant market occurrences, etc. , and aid in the creation of regular and thematic research papers on these topics.
• Through research into product ideas, ratings methods, and markets, gain a thorough understanding of the sector/asset class.

D. Recruitment and Selection process
• An online exam would be used for screening.
• The Technical and HR interviews will be conducted for the shortlisted applicants.
• The assessment criteria will take into account a student’s aptitude and mindset toward learning.
